Shin Laboratory
Stem Cell Biology & Human Diseases
Employment
Postdoctoral Researcher
Postdoctoral position is available for highly motivated candidates with a background in stem cell biology/cancer/developmental biology to join the Shin laboratory in the Department of Life Sciences at Seoul National Univerisity.
Our research focuses on stem cell biology and cancer. The major focus of current research is to understand how various developmental pathways mediate interactions between stem cells and their microenvironment, how these interactions control the physiology of stem cells during regeneration, and how dysregulation of these pathways plays a role in various pathological conditions such as cancers in epithelial tissues (Shin et al, Nature 2011; Shin et al, Nat. Cell. Biol. 2014; Shin et al, Cancer Cell 2014; Lim et al, Nat. Cell. Biol. 2014).
Applicants should hold a PhD degree and have strong background in stem cell and cancer biology. Significant experience in the following areas is required: Molecular and cell biology, epigenetics, mouse genetics and in vivo mouse models.
Interested candidates should submit a full application including a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and names and contact information (email and telephone numbers) of three references by email to kunyoos@snu.ac.kr.
